Today, we celebrate one of the most auspicious days of the year in Christmas. Tennis players around the world are currently at their homes, celebrating this festival. Interestingly, they are all are celebrating it in different ways.

As you can see in the post above, Felix Auger-Aliassime is spending his Christmas wrapping presents. Unlike most people, he decided to do it all by himself and he’s clearly good at it. Unfortunately for him, he ended up dropping the present soon after he wrapped it.

Moving on, Diego Schwartzman is spending Christmas with his girlfriend, Eugenie De Martino. Karolina Pliskova is also spending the day with her partner and together, they decorated a beautiful Christmas tree.

Some other players who also shared how they were spending Christmas were Ana Ivanovic and Eugenie Bouchard.

Spending Christmas with her husband, Ivanovic shared a special message with her fans on Instagram. She said that they should enjoy the day despite the unfortunate conditions created by the coronavirus pandemic.

Bouchard, on the other hand, shared an adorable photograph of herself wearing a Santa Claus hat on the tennis court. Considering her legion of fans, this was certainly a sight to behold.

Moving on, Dominic Thiem, Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber also shared how they were spending the day. They all shared photographs of themselves with beautifully decorated Christmas trees.

The 2021 Tennis Season

After a terrible year plagued by the coronavirus pandemic, tennis players are surely enjoying the Christmas season. However, the celebration will not last long as a lot of them have to get back to training for the 2021 season.

They will start their season at different events. However, in February, all of them will travel to play the Australian Open – the first Grand Slam of the year.

Many players like Dominic Thiem are looking to win their first title there and we will have to wait and see if we get a new winner this time.
