Conor McGregor is famous for his big mouth, but more often than not backing it with performances. However, his recent form has many questioning his ability inside the Octagon. But ‘The Notorious’ isn’t short on confidence.

He recently called out the UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for a comeback title match. Usman laughed at the idea and said it would be a “murder inside the octagon” if such a fight goes through. He is the UFC pound-for-pound number one, and that makes him the obvious favorite for the fight for neutrals.

Recently, UFC legend Michael Bisping also humiliated Conor McGregor with his prediction on the hypothetical matchup. He said on his YouTube channel that a fight like this might be good for the fighter’s finances.

He said, “He’s the pound-for-pound best fighter on the planet right now. So Conor McGregor vs Kamaru Usman might happen if it does happen fair play to them both. I hope them both make a ton of money.”

However, he believes it would be an unfair matchup and result in a humiliating defeat for the former double champion. “But… last time out Conor broke his leg, this time out, he’s gonna break his jaw. It’s as simple as that. Kamaru Usman will break Conor McGregor’s jaw and have him drinking out of a straw or eating out of a straw for quite some time,” he added.

The former UFC champion Michael Bisping was conscious of the fact that Conor McGregor has made a career fighting against odds. He made sure that he didn’t become overconfident in his prediction.

He later said, “However, you never know, you never know, maybe I’m wrong. You know I don’t know everything believe it or not. I make a lot of mistakes, I get things wrong, my opinions aren’t always right but I’m entitled to them.

Despite his prediction being one-sided, Bisping clarified that he would definitely watch the fight. He said, “But I would see it, I would watch it. I’d probably buy it if I wasn’t working.”

McGregor is instead planning to move to 170lbs and add a third division title to his list of achievements. Only McGregor and Dana White know what lies next in his career, but whatever it is, will be a blockbuster.
