The upcoming Ubisoft title Immortals: Fenyx Rising got an accidental Microsoft store listing, which soon got removed. However, this acted as a boon since this store listing revealed a lot of information and in-game snapshots. It was previously named Gods & Monsters and changed its name following the accidental leak of the game build on Google Stadia this Summer. The game currently still features on the Epic Games Store for pre-purchase.

The Microsoft Store page of the game stated that Immortals is set to release this year on December 3. The game received a good response following its reveal at the E3 2019. Ubisoft Quebec has not revealed any further news about this title since. However, the company is about to re-reveal the game at the Ubisoft Forward event next week.

The Microsoft Store listing described the Ubisoft Quebec title as “a quest to save the Greek gods”

The game is set in an open-world where the players take on the role of Fenyx, who is a demigod. Immortals takes players to the world of classical Greek mythology where they can wield the power of gods. The game features mythological weapons like Achilles’ sword or Daidalos’ wings. In addition to this, players also get to wield powers like telekinesis in the game. Players battle it out with beings like Medusa and Cyclops and solve puzzles in order to advance in the game. Immortals will be releasing for both current and next-gen consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch.

Ubisoft has quite an exciting lineup of upcoming releases. Fans can expect to see more on them in the next event stream. The lineup includes Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs Legions, to name a few. With only a few months before the new consoles drop, the company has created quite a hype over what it has in store.
