Asobo announced in a Twitch stream recently about their plans for the next update. Great Britain is on the list next and they plan to release it by January. The studio said they have data for Wales, England and Scotland. Despite the fact that the update says ‘United Kingdom’, they do not have data for Northern Ireland. Nevertheless, Jorg Neumann revealed the Ireland plans later.
“We have a completely new set of aerials. Thank you, Bing, it’s really cool. We are trying hard to get data for at least Northern Ireland, but we might as well do all of Ireland. We’re working on this. I hope to have an update there.”

These World Updates focus on a degree of realism never seen before. In the previous two similar updates, the studio has revolutionized how USA and Japan look from the aerial viewpoint. Capturing the finer details and replicating famous landmarks, the simulator is a spectacle to watch and play, especially in 4k.
During the stream, the studio revealed the UK update will add 50 and 60 brand new points of interest to look out for. There will be architectural improvements, enhanced airports like Land’s End, Liverpool EGGP, and Manchester Barton, and lastly new challenges and a brand new flight. Furthermore, the studio revealed VR support is coming to all devices this December.
