The 28-year-old admitted that he has not been fully fit in recent years and his body has once again let him down as he is disappointed to pull out of the revamped Davis Cup. Raonic also explained that he will try to get back on the court healthier next season and wished luck to the Canadian Davis Cup team to clinch their first Davis Cup title.
It is very hard and disappointing for me that I will not be able to represent my country at Davis Cup. My health has continued to let me down through this entire year and now once again. I will take the appropriate time to get healthy and I look forward to being back on the court next season,” Milos Raonic said in a statement.
