Preview-

Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves are set to play for the second time in three days. They came into Monday’s game with a similar win-loss record, where the Timberwolves beat them 112-102.

Utah’s plans to go with a veteran guard in the form of Mike Conley did not seem to pay dividends so far. After four consecutive wins, they suffered two defeats. The positive for them, would be their attack that has averaged over 110 points per game so far in the season.

Despite Conley’s struggles, they have found points coming from Donovan Mitchell, who is currently averaging of 24.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per match.

The Timberwolves sit eight in the Western Conference, with not much consistency achieved in the season so far. They will gain from the fact that they beat Utah only on Monday in their home ground, and will be looking for a repeat of that, especially with Andrew Wiggins expected to make a return.

Timberwolves will also look at their two-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns to come good once again, as he did on Monday with seven three pointers.

Injury updates & team news-

The Timberwolves have a few players in the injured players list. Andrew Wiggins, who missed the game at Utah, is listed as questionable for the home game on Wednesday, and so is Shabazz Napier as per reports from KSL.com. Jake Layman and Josh Okogie are listed as day-to-day.

As for Utah, they can go in with their preferred line up with no injury concers. An expected starting five of Bojan Bogdanovic, Rudy Gobert, Royce O’Neal, Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell should be facing the Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Predictions-

Having won away at Utah, the Timberwolves will be coming into the home game with momentum, making it that much more difficult for Utah.
