A similar failed business attempt took place in 2020 while Alex was with her then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.

In 2020, Alex Rodriguez attempted to bid for the MLB team Mets. The player then teamed up with his ex-fiancee, pop star JLo, to seal the deal. Unfortunately, the couple lost the bidding war as they couldn’t compete with the Steve Cohen’s $2.4 billion bid for the team.
