The moment which everybody was waiting for finally happened. New York Yankees star player, ‘All Rise’ Aaron Judge finally hit homer number 62. With it, he became the new record holder of the American League’s single-season home runs. And Judge made it happen proudly wearing the same Pinstripes that the previous record holders wore.

Furthermore, the whole country seems to be celebrating Judge’s conquest as it happened after quite a long wait. On September 28, Judge hit a bullet line drive over the left field fence of the Rogers Center that helped him tie with the now previous record holder, the legend Roger Maris.  

Maris hit 61 in the ’61 season. Whereas Judge hit his 61st after 61 whole years, and now the record of 61 is broken.

At last, Aaron Judge did it!

On Tuesday night, in the game against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Aaron Judge hit the historic 62nd home run in the first innings of the game. Right-hander pitcher of the Rangers, Jesus Tinoco, threw the ball that is now worth approximately $2 million.

Also, the two-run home run drive earned congratulations from people all over the country, including the president himself, Joe Biden. Not only him, but the former president of the USA, Bill Clinton, also came forward to congratulate man of the hour on his Twitter handle.

Also, fellow and former baseball stars were not going to be left behind in congratulating Judge on this historic achievement. The Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and NFL star Patrick Mahomes also came forward to congratulate the New York Yankees star.

Even though A-Rod did not take to Twitter to congratulate Judge for writing history, he did take it to his Instagram story to do so. Meanwhile, one can never forget Roger Maris Jr. coming in to congratulate Judge, who is proud that Judge is the player who broke his father’s record.
