Yankees flop Aaron Hicks has received a lot of flak from Bombers fans. During the series opener between the Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles, he received a cold reception. Yankee Stadium was ringing with booes as a tribute video was played, welcoming him back. Furthermore, he received a similar reception during his first at-bat. But his wife, Cheyenne Hicks, the niece of Tiger Woods, has joined his brother Joe Hicks in replying to an Instagram video of Aaron being booed. Talkin’ Yanks shared a screenshot on Twitter of Joe and Cheyenne defending Aaron while replying to the Instagram Post. 

In the comments, Joe said, “Will always love NY ! Good or bad Lfg 💪🏾💪🏾”. In reply to that, Cheyenne said, “@therealjoehicks ❤️💪🏾”, seemingly agreeing with his message. The two wanted to beat the booing and negativity with a peaceful message. Notably, getting support from his family will only boost Hicks’ confidence.

Aaron Hicks seemed to buckle under the pressure during the series opener as he managed only one hit in 4 at-bats and the Orioles suffered a loss as well, losing 6-3. Furthermore, in the most recent game of the series, he was booed once again, but for different reasons.

During the Orioles’ most recent game against the Yankees, Aaron Hicks once again faced booing. But it was for a different reason this time. This came after he smashed a home run against the Yankees in the fifth inning of the game. Booes rained down on Hicks as he jogged the bases. Although the former Yankee managed to get his revenge, the Orioles once again lost the contest 8-4. He managed only that one hit in three at-bats during the game and seemingly struggled at Yankee Stadium.
