Retirement is a huge step for baseball players as they are giving up a sport that they’ve played for decades. But MLB legend Albert Pujols has moved on from his career without missing a beat. Most recently, he showed off his powerful swing in another sport, putting it to good use.

Pujols retired from baseball after the 2022 season. Since then, he enjoyed his retirement for a bit before rejoining the Los Angeles Angels in a special assistant role. It will be hard to imagine Pujols as anything other than a baseball player. But his latest outing gave a glimpse into him playing a different sport and showing off his skills.

Since retiring from playing baseball, Albert Pujols has truly done his best to enjoy his life and new experiences. He attended his very first Super Bowl, participated in the NBA celebrity game, and enjoyed himself. Most recently, he showed off his trademark swing while playing golf. The MLB icon shared a video on Instagram alongside professional golfer Jerry Kelly, who approved of his swing. 

Pujols and PGA Tour Champions shared the Instagram Video, which was captioned, “@albertpujols crushed this one 🔥🔥”. The St. Louis Cardinals legend has kept himself busy with appearances at different events. He even made an appearance at a UN event.

Pujols is enjoying his limited role with the Angels as a Special Assistant. He is able to stay in touch with baseball in a new role but also enjoys more freedom. The MLB legend experiences new activities and outings that his baseball career did not allow time for. Getting back to golf, it is not a new passion for the retired legend.

Although it may be strange for baseball fans to see Albert Pujols playing golf, it seems to be something he enjoys. Furthermore, he seems to enjoy watching the game as well. In February this year, he and his girlfriend watched the Phoenix Open live and shared pictures from the tournament on social media.
