Two great athletes, Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan became perfect ambassadors of their respective sports. Jeter is as iconic in baseball as Jordan in basketball. Two players with equal amounts of success, though Jordan may seemingly disagree.
Derek Jeter is one of the best shortstops ever to play baseball. In a glorious 20-year-long MLB career, Jeter played only for the New York Yankees. Jeter is a 14-time All-Star player and five-time World Series, winner. On the other hand, Michael Jordan is one of the greatest basketball players to have ever lived. Playing for the Chicago Bulls and later for the Washington Wizards, Jordan is a 14-time All-Star player and six-time NBA league champion.

Both Jeter and Jordan share a high amount of mutual respect. More than being just good friends, they are sworn, brothers. Wherein, Jordan is the protective elder brother and Jeter follows the trail as the younger sibling. But brothers also share a fair amount of rivalry and healthy competition. So do they as well.

Jeter replied saying, “Think about it? Of course, I think about it. He reminds me all the time.” A surprised Reilly asked again, “He texts you and reminds you?” Jeter replied, “All the time.”
What difference does the ring really make?
All the talk about that one ring is mere light-hearted fun moments between the two gentlemen. Jordan never for once doubted Jeter’s talent. The fact that Jeter has five World Series victories to his credit, itself speaks volumes about his mettle. Jordan even attended Jeter’s Hall Of Fame Induction in 2020.
