Criticisms are part of the sports world. Fans never spare anyone when they find something unacceptable. As the MLB postseason is progressing, the scenario is rapidly changing. While players and teams are often criticized for their performance or statements, now the Major League Baseball authority has become the target. Generally, in big leagues, the crucial games are scheduled on the weekends. But MLB made some exceptions in the postseason. They took a weekday policy and placed important games on weekdays. This backfires severely.
As the 2023 postseason begins, a few important ALDS and NLDS games have been played on Monday and Tuesday. The first two working days when all the working places are open. It prevents most fans from watching their favorite teams fighting. So, angry fans blasted on social media, slamming MLB.

Fans compare the MLB with the other big leagues like the NBA and the NFL. Though the formats are pretty different for each league, they still use the other references to express their frustration. As the MLB season is progressing towards the World Series, the teams have been trying their best to stick to the spots. Amidst these, a fan recently shared his frustration with the weekday MLB games. He conveyed no other league scheduled the important games on weekdays when all the workplaces and schools are open. In an instant, others jumped on, supporting his statement.

The claim is not entirely true, as the NFL, NHL, and NBA games were also played on weekdays. Even the NHL had three early season games played on October 10th, the same as MLB postseason games. However, still, MLB fans are unhappy with the schedule. This thing triggered after the Tuesday game between the Minnesota Twins vs. the Houston Astros. These two teams have been performing exceptionally well, increasing the excitement among the fans. So, the weekday game disheartened the fans. The employed people and school students lose their chances of watching the game peacefully. There’s another thing that fans are complaining about is the boring MLB games.
