Derek Jeter, and Michael Jordan, are two iconic figures and ‘brotherly’ friends, from the world of sports. They played two different sports and dominated their respective zones. However, alongside the fact that they once participated in each other’s sports, they also share many other similarities. That also includes high-profile mutual friends.

Their tremendous success itself speaks volumes about their identities. Jeter is a 14-time MLB All-Star with five World Series championships to his credit. Whereas, Jordan is a 14-time NBA All-Star, who won six tournament final trophies. 

Jeter and Jordan had a common friend, who had sporting accomplishments matching their stature. It is none other than the world-renowned golf legend Tiger Woods. Popularly known as the ‘King of Golf’, Woods is a Hall Of Fame inductee, just like Jeter, and Jordan. Woods has won 15 major golf championships, but there is an aspect of life where he once needed special guidance.

Derek Jeter, and Michael Jordan, had a clear grasp of their sporting skills. Their socializing aptitude is also equally top-notch. Particularly, even more so, when it came to talking with women. But Tiger Woods, who has a long history of romantic escapades, is rather shy.

In fact, Woods was always reportedly uncomfortable around women. A female tour guide, who once led Woods around Oregon, later described the golf virtuoso as, “Nerdy and socially awkward.” Interestingly enough, Woods, once went to a club in New York, with Jeter and Jordan. While Woods watched, Jeter and Jordan easily settled in talking with the ladies hanging around.

Both Jeter and Jordan retired from their playing careers a long time ago. The two of them have got noticed playing golf on multiple occasions. A few of those occasions have been in the company of Woods. Sure enough, Woods shared his expertise on the golf course with Jeter and Jordan in return for their valuable advice.
