Speaking to Durant on the podcast, ‘A-Rod’ said, “I wanted to be an NBA player so bad. When I was 12 years old, I quit baseball. And thank God for my mother. She had two jobs. So she had the wits about her to realize that there’s not too many Dominican players in NBA. Right?”?
