Oakland Stadium had an unusually spooky moment on Friday night; Though it was from beyond the playing arena. A woman in the stands with a freaky smile got seen unflinchingly staring at the camera. World famous basketball player LeBron James shared a snap on Instagram. 

Oakland Coliseum is the home ground of the Oakland Athletics in MLB. The Coliseum has the largest seating capacity of all baseball stadiums across the USA. On Friday night, the Coliseum hosted the New York Mets for the first game of a home series. However, the game has come into the news for a reason other than the in-game proceedings. 

LeBron James is a basketball legend who plays as the small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers. James is an 18-time All-Star player and a four-time NBA finals champion. He is an all-time great and a genuine icon of the sport. On Friday night, he got involved in sharing something from the world of MLB. 

The spooky guest at the Oakland Coliseum 

Oakland Coliseum was witness to more than just a horrific scorecard for the home team. The Athletics faced another heavy defeat, as the Mets had a comfortable victory. The Mets pummelled the Athletics by a 9-2 margin. It was a familiar sight for the Athletics’ fans as their team has been struggling throughout the tournament.

However, the nightmarish sight wasn’t related to the on-field action but rather beyond. During the fourth inning, the broadcast cameras focused on a smiling lady in the stands. She was wearing a neon yellow tee shirt with the word ‘Smile’ printed on it. The woman kept staring straight at the cameras with a weird smile on. 

Earlier on, she got seen standing behind the batting plate. She continued maintaining the disconcerting pose for a while. A security guard eventually advised her to sit down. As per a report, some people have termed that as a publicity stunt for an upcoming film titled, ‘Smile’.

The incident caught LeBron James’ attention, who shared a snap on his Instagram reel. Jomboy Media network too got in on the act. They shared a brief video on their Twitter account stating, “The absolute balls on this security guard to confront a literal demon.”
