The Philadelphia Phillies have had a grand campaign in this year’s MLB season. A late surge in the second half of the regular season put them in the wildcard round. Clinching a playoff berth through wildcard entry from there on, they entered the postseason. Punching down heavyweight opponents, the Phillies defied all expectations and are competing in the World Series.

The Phillies are facing off against last year’s World Series runners-up Houston Astros. The Astros, on the other hand, began this year’s campaign as one of the prime favorites. Having an unbeaten run in the postseason, the Astros proved why they deserve to be considered championship contenders. Nonetheless, the Phillies have already provided some stiff competition to the Astros.
