As per a source, some diamond experts got asked about the worth of the diamond without the ring. Albert Dahl, a GIA graduate gemologist at New Jersey’s Fords Jewelers, said, “Just from that tremendous photo, it’s a round stone, 2.5 to 3 carats. A value of a stone like that, depending on clarity and all that, would be between $25,000 and $75,000.” 

While Mark Keeney, the marketing Vice President at Ritani.com said, “Jeter knocked it out of the park on this ring, with round center stone appearing to be no less than 3 carats and by the looks of it a flawless stone at that. Set in a platinum French-set band, this elegant style is estimated to be close to $300,000.”

Also, Keeney noted that the ring was classy and traditional. And not something flashy and ridiculous. So it won’t ever go out of fashion. According to Keeney’s estimate, the engagement is on par with the price of a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
