The two-way Angels star Shohei ‘Shotime’ Ohtani, who seized the 2021 American League’s Most Valuable Player, is also one of the top contenders for this year’s AL MVP race. Putting up a good fight to Yankees slugger Aaron Judge, Ohtani is pretty confident of his play this season.

Also, ‘Gubie Tuesdays’ is back with a bang, and recently, interviewed the Angels star player on things he likes outside of baseball. And the color commentator for the LA Angels also asked a tricky question about the game he plays.
But the player who can do both pitches and hit very well was pretty clear on what he would rather do- hit a homer or throw a 100mph pitch.

When former pitcher Mark Gubicza asked Ohtani a tricky question on choosing between hitting a home run or throwing a 100mph pitch, Shotime gave an answer without thinking much about it.
He simply replied, “homerun, homerun, yes!”

The very question comprised of the two-way star telling the name of his favorite character on the famous tv show, Stranger Things. In an instant, the reply from Ohtani came, and he said, ‘Dustin,..he is funny.’

Mark asked him about the favorite video game he likes to play, and it is Clash Royale. Ohtani also told the name of the player of his team with whom he plays CR, and it was the infielder David Fletcher or Fletch.
