Currently, the Pinstripes star Aaron Judge is the face of baseball in New York and North America. And very rightly so, too. But when talking about his younger days in baseball, apart from being an aspiring baseball star, Judge was very fond of an infamous Marvel superhero.

Who is Judge’s favorite superhero?

Back in 2013, when Aaron Judge had just managed to break into the minor league system with the Pinstripes, the future All-Star reached his Twitter handle with an interesting tweet. In the message, he spoke about finding his favorite shirt, which also fit a Marvel icon. Notably, years down the line, he became the superhero he spoke about. And whose costume he symbolically wore as an undershirt back in the day.

His tweet said, “Just found my new favorite shirt! Rocking this undershirt every game!” And with this tweet, whether directly or not, Iron Man seems to be Aaron Judge’s favorite superhero.

It’s clear that Judge’s impressive 62-home run season in 2022 earned him a reputation as a power-hitting machine for the New York Yankees, just like the indestructible Iron Man. And with talk swirling about his potential appointment as team captain, Judge is embracing the role with all the strength and leadership of Marvel’s iconic superhero.

Although some may debate whether Iron Man was actually the leader of the Avengers, there’s no denying that Judge is poised to lead the Yankees to victory.

How did Aaron Judge cause turmoil in the free market?

During the previous off-season, Aaron Judge and New York couldn’t find common ground on a seven-year, $213.5 million deal. Consequently, when the Bronx Bombers exited the 2022 season, Judge entered free agency as the biggest star in the market.
