$250 Million Rapper Drake Once Grabbed Houston Astros’ Attention With a Painstaking Move

Houston Astros have been one of the most successful and dominant teams in Major League Baseball over the last few years. They have played three World Series only in the last five years. And considering their rise in MLB, the American League champs have got some serious fanbase as their support.

Apart from their loyal fans in the city, the Houston Astros also have celebrities rooting for them. Renowned gymnast Simone Biles and ace rapper Drake are only a few to name. When talking about Drake, the Uptown singer is a massive supporter of the Astros.

Drake got a Houston Astros tattoo on his body

In Drake’s own words, the Canadian rapper prefers to have an attitude like the World Series and a life like a bottle of champagne. “World Series attitude, champagne bottle life, nothing ever changes, so tonight is like tomorrow night,” Drake said once.

Back in the 2013 season, Drake showed off his love for the Houston Astros by flaunting the tattoo of the Astros’ logo on his body. Taking to Instagram, the Canadian rapper shared a photo of the same.

Considering his love and affection for the team, the Astros also acknowledged Drake’s effort and said, “Nice tattoo, Drake!”

Even in the last year, Drake joined Travis Scott’s Astro World Fest on the stage, wearing Astros gear.

Drake ditched the NBA finals to watch the Astros game in Minute Maid Park

During the 2014 season, the $250 million worth rapper skipped the NBA Finals just to watch his favorite MLB team play in Minute Maid Park. The Astros also did not disappoint their fan and won a close game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
