Tired of being kept awake by the cacophony of construction at his neighbors’ place, Derek Jeter sought out a sanctuary of silence where he could catch some serious shut-eye during baseball season.

According to pagesix, the then Yankees captain found just the place – a 2087 square foot corner pad that promised some peace and quiet. Derek Jeter rented the place, a two-bedroom, three-bath clubhouse in the same building for a staggering $15,500 a month.

Derek Jeter’s Tampa mansion

In the same year, 2011, Jeter moved into a mansion he had built in Tampa Bay. After living there for a while, they eventually relocated to Florida, probably because of privacy issues. The house became a local landmark and gained even more fame in 2020 when NFL superstar Tom Brady rented it from Jeter. However, there have been reports that the mansion will be torn down at some point in the future.
