Derek Jeter is one of the greatest players to have ever stepped into a ballpark. With the success he achieved, Jeter also gained experience and wisdom that only a few players can match. Derek Jeter talked about dealing with pressure
In an interview with Brandon Steiner in 2017, Jeter opened up on the best way to deal with pressure. He said that he never focused on his individual goals, he only thought about helping the team win.

During the interview, Jeter said, “Everyone always talks about pressure, pressure, pressure. But if you’re not thinking about yourself, you’re thinking about how you can help the team win. You think about wins and losses. I think it takes a lot of that pressure off.”

Aaron Judge will definitely be asking Jeter for his advice in the near future. Notably, Judge has just been named the Yankee’s new captain and will probably go to his predecessor for advice. Furthermore, Judge reportedly connected Jeter during his free agency. Per The Athletic’s Chris Kirschner “Aaron Judge said he spoke to Derek Jeter a few times throughout his free agency process”.
