In a video uploaded by Talkin’ Yanks and Jomboy Media, a couple is visible trying to cut a cake together at their wedding reception. The cake, adorned with the iconic Yankees symbol and the Pinstripes, seemed to be giving the couple some difficulty in cutting it in half. However, as they continued to struggle, a surprise reveal occurred when someone lifted the top layer of the cake, revealing a hidden Boston Red Sox cake underneath, complete with the Red Sox logo and the team’s name “Boston Red Sox.”

The husband’s previously jubilant expression instantly transformed, as he shook his head in disappointment and disbelief. In a reflexive action, the knife he held in his hand humorously redirected its aim from the Red Sox cake to his wife, explaining his response to this supposedly funny prank.
