The Captain, Derek Jeter, has had the media and people from all over the country fawn over him ever since he started playing. If his dating history is taken into consideration, he was pretty famous among everyone. But who knew the shortstop’s image as a kid would have people love him even more? 

That’s what happened when the official fan page of the shortstop on Facebook posted a picture of him as a kid dressed up for Halloween. People have their ways of showing their love. While many people commented, the picture got shared a lot as well.

Derek Jeter put away his stoic demeanor!

According to the official fan page of Jeter, the picture of Jeter as a kid was shared as a part of the Turn 2 Foundation’s initiative, “We Play.” In the picture, the baseball legend as a kid was dressed up as a Clown.

The picture was posted by the fan page more than a decade ago but resurfaced recently. And since it came up right around Halloween, no other time could be more accurate for that picture to show up. Halloween is the time when kids wear spooky costumes and enjoy their time. They do trick-or-treating, visit haunted houses, and tell scary stories.

Rather than looking cute, young Jeter in the Joker costume looked scarier than he generally does. Maybe the intent behind that picture was scary and not funny. Either way, Jeter, as a kid or adult, was and is still loved by many. 

People still love Jeter!

Aside from the fans and media, when Jeter played for the Yankees, women from across industries considered Derek as their favorite baseball player. In terms of baseball and looks, it was only Derek Jeter for many.
