The baseball community has almost come to a standstill in anticipation of Aaron Judge hitting his record home run. His worth weighs more than an entire team at the moment. Baseball followers and New York Yankees supporters in particular only care about Judge’s historic home run now. The wait has gone beyond a week now and there are questions about his participation in the next game. 

Aaron Judge has proven to be a trailblazer since entering MLB. He made his debut as the New York Yankees outfielder in 2016 and has featured in four All-Star teams. He is leading the batting charts in all categories and is in contention for the American League MVP Award. But most importantly, he is on a historic home run record spree.

Judge has already entered the league of baseball elite joining the company of all-time greats. He already surpassed Babe Ruth and tied Roger Maris’ American League seasonal highest home run record. One more smash and he will go beyond all, creating records of his own.

The Yankees are presently facing the Texas Rangers for an away series. The ticket prices have already gone unbelievably high due to Judge’s historic home run tag.

Judge played in the first game of the series against the Rangers on Monday. Unfortunately, contrary to expectations, there was no home run from Judge on offer. Tuesday will host a doubleheader between the Yankees and the Rangers. However, the Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone understandably is going to be very cautious regarding Judge’s participation. The playoffs are about to begin and the Yankees will want Judge at his best.

Meanwhile, MLB insider Bryan Hoch reported about Judge’s availability on Twitter stating, “Aaron Judge will probably play in Game 2 today if he doesn’t homer in Game 1, Aaron Boone said.”

When will the crowd be delighted to Judge’s record-setter? 

The wait for Judge’s 62nd home run seems to be never-ending. The Yankees defeated the Rangers by a 3-1 margin in the first game. But there wasn’t a Judge slam. The opposition’s defensive tactics against him seem to be getting more and more disciplined after each game. Therefore, it only depends on Judge as to how soon he can find a way to break the shackles.
