Since joining his new team, he has shown off considerable skill. In the latest game, he pulled off a stunning defensive play.

The Yankees have had multiple players fall short of expectations in recent years. This struggling $70 million outfielder was one of them. But since leaving the team, he has been performing well. His most recent fielding performance is a far improvement on what he was doing with the Yankees.

Aaron Hicks is playing great baseball after leaving the New York Yankees

Aaron Hicks was designated for assignment by the Yankees. The Baltimore Orioles took the chance to sign him and so far he has not disappointed. In his debut for the team, he batted well and during their most recent game, Hicks showed off his fielding prowess. During the Orioles’ recent game, he made a sensational catch to prevent a home run in the third innings. Talkin; Baseball shared a video of the defensive play that has left fans awestruck. 

In the Tweet, they said, “Aaron Hicks got up to make this catch”. It was a difficult fly ball in a tough position. But Hicks stayed calm and completed the play. Furthermore, he made a quick throw to the infield as the runners scurried back to base.
