Aaron Judge has displayed spectacular batting form throughout this season. He played a large part in helping his team to qualify for the playoffs. In a recent press conference, he discussed his individual game plan for the postseason. Judge seemingly appeared carefree and well-prepared to face the opposition’s defensive tactics.

Aaron Judge is an iconic slugger and outfielder for the New York Yankees. Making his MLB debut in 2016, he gained prominence as a prolific home run scorer. He won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in his second season. The four-time All-Star Judge is presently a frontrunner for this year’s American League MVP Award.

Judge has entered his name in the baseball record books as the American League’s highest seasonal home run scorer. He has been on a home run frenzy throughout the season. In the process, he surpassed the legendary Roger Maris. Judge now has flown past Maris’ previous American League seasonal best of 61 home runs.

Aaron Judge is a man with a counterplan

As of now, Aaron Judge’s seasonal home run tally stands at 62 homers. But he has had to grind his way through. After a strong fightback, he achieved his 61st home run against the Toronto Blue Jays. Upon which, he tied with Maris’ long-standing American League record. But he had to wait over a week to reach his record-breaking slam.

Following on, the Yankees played against the Baltimore Orioles. But the pitchers kept intentionally walking Judge to deny his historic home run. Earlier, the same method was also being applied by the Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox. However, Judge finally got his breakthrough moment against the Texas Rangers.

This means the opposition pitchers might employ similar cunning ideas to stop Judge yet again. However, the optimistic Judge has got enough confidence in his team’s star-studded offensive lineup. Therefore, his counterplan is rather simple.
