New York Yankees Captain Aaron Judge has soared to heights in his seven years career in the Bronx. From making his MLB debut in 2016 and becoming Rookie of the Year in 2017 by hitting 50 home runs to hitting 62 this year, his journey to reach where he is in his career came with its own hurdles. But the one thing that remained constant was the support he got from his parents, Wayne and Patty Judge.

For those unversed, the Yankees outfielder is not a biological child of his parents, but the couple has instead adopted him within two days of his birth. While talking about his journey, All Rise told the Post about how lucky he was to have got the parents he did. But his parents did not agree with him at all.

Talking about that day, the number 99 said, “I feel they kind of picked me. I feel that God was the one that matched us together.” Apparently, BAJ’s mother was with him when he gave that interview because when he said whatever he did, his mother straightforwardly disagreed with him. She said, “We’re more blessed than he is.”

Judge’s parents had told the Yankees slugger that he was adopted when he was ten years old. But by then, the outfielder had already figured that out because he did not look like them. His reaction to getting told that he was adopted was probably not what his parents had expected from him.

How did Aaron Judge react when he got to know that he was adopted?

In the same interview, the iconic player talked about how his parents told him that he was adopted. Since he did not look like them, he started to ask questions. Therefore, at the age of either ten or eleven, they sat him down and told him the truth.

He did not react as if it was anything shocking but that he was ok with it. However, the words he said afterward must have definitely amused his parents. He simply said that it does not matter if he was adopted, they were his parents. He loves them, and they would be the only parents that he’ll ever know in his life.
