Nevertheless, that didn’t take away his legacy in the sport. And the Guardians veteran, who was also among Yankee great Derek Jeter’s biggest rivals, will now be entering the Guardians Hall of Fame.

Manny Ramirez to enter the Cleveland Guardians Hall of Fame

In 2022, before calling a Boston Red Sox vs Detroit Tigers game at Fenway Park, Manny Ramirez was honored into the BoSox Hall of Fame. Later in the game, the two-time AL Hank Aaron winner made a comment against five-time World Champion Derek Jeter, by calling him a “regular player,” in context to possibly playing for Kansas City.

Now, as reported by MLB insider Hector Gomez, Manny Ramirez will enter the Guardians Hall of Fame in August 2023, when the Tribe takes on the Detroit Tigers. The iconic moment for the stained Ramirez comes one year after he entered the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame after throwing the ceremonial first pitch before a Tigers-Red Sox game.
