The off-season is a time that a lot of baseball players use to relax, recover and prepare for the next season. It allows MLB stars to work on the flaws in their game while also relaxing after a grueling season. Most players work on their craft and stay fit before joining their team for Spring Training. But one Baltimore Orioles star took some time to have some fun this off-season. 

The Orioles’ young catcher, Adley Rutschman, had a fantastic 2022 rookie season. But in a recent video that is doing the rounds on Twitter, he was seen enjoying a good time with some Orioles fans.

In 2022, Adley Rutschman was a solid presence for the Baltimore Orioles in what was a rather disappointing season. But this off-season, he seems to be enjoying himself and taking some time off from the grind. In a video shared by Talkin’ Baseball on Twitter, Rutschman can be seen chugging a beer with a fan. 

In the Tweet, Talkin’ Baseball said, “Adley Rutschman chugging beer with fans. What a guy”. Rutschman was one of the many Orioles stars who interacted with fans during the Birdland tour of Maryland. They stopped at multiple cities in Maryland to interact with fans. This video just shows how much Rutschman cares about his supporters and that he’s willing to have some fun with them.

Rutschman has been doing some very interesting things the entire off-season. Earlier in the break, he shocked a lot of fans by doing a crazy workout in the snow. But don’t let any of these events fool you. The Orioles’ young catcher is also putting in a lot of work. He is determined to help his team make the postseason this upcoming season.

According to MLB.com, “This offseason, the catcher followed a personalized plan laid out for him by Baltimore’s co-hitting coaches, Matt Borgschulte and Ryan Fuller.” It will be interesting to see Rutschman’s improvement in 2023.
