Considering his immense potential, most recently, one of his San Diego Padres teammates heaped huge praise on Soto and compared him to an MLB legend. Notably, the 24-year-old was traded to the Padres midway through last season. He had a down year, but fans and analysts expect him to bounce back.

San Diego Padres veteran Nelson Cruz compares Juan Soto to Adrian Beltre

Juan Soto is one of MLB’s best young stars. At 24, he has achieved what many MLB players only dream of. Furthermore, he is extremely humble about his achievements and has a quiet personality. Most recently, his San Diego Padres teammate Nelson Cruz compared him to MLB legend Adrian Beltre. Cruz said that Soto is quiet but knows what to do on the field, much like Beltre. 97.3 The Fan shared the video of Cruz making the comparison on Twitter. 

In the video, Nelson Cruz said, “He reminds me a lot of Adrian Beltre. You know, the type of player that doesn’t talk much, he’s very quiet. But he knows what to do on the field.” This is a massive compliment as Cruz has compared Soto to a legend of the game. The Padres star is only 24 years old right now and in time could add numerous achievements to his name.
