It’s a special day for Captain Clutch Derek Jeter. After a successful comeback in baseball, 5x World Champ is now celebrating his 49th birthday. Post-completion of a fun, charismatic, and insightful two days at the London Stadium, Derek rallied back to his family for a tour of the Big Smoke. While he did so, he already had the next chapter of his comeback in his mind. 

The newly appointed reserved MLB analyst for Fox Network shared the next chapter of his life ahead of his birthday. 

What is Derek Jeter going to do next?

Earlier in February, the announcement was made that Derek Jeter would be joining former teammate Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, and studio host Kevin Burkhardt as the game analysts at Fox. However, the twist came a few weeks later. 

After the announcement at Super Bowl Sunday, more details of Jeter’s role as an analyst came forward, saying that he wouldn’t be joining Fox for the whole season but only on special days. At first, it was a little heartbreaking for Jeter’s fans. But they were still happy to be able to see him back on television. Hence, following up on the twist, Derek resorted to his social media platforms to announce the next chapter of his comeback.

While posting his debut picture, Jeter wrote, “On set for the first time with @MLBonFOX in London. Next stop: All-Star game in Seattle!”

It’s been over eight years since Jeter retired from Major League Baseball. But his fame has only increased during this time. Hence, his fans are happy because it’s merely two weeks before they get to see Captain Clutch again. 

One year short of Golden Jubilee, Jeter’s roles have increased!

For those unversed earlier last month, on supermodel Hannah Jeter’s birthday, Derek and Hannah’s lives changed once again. The couple welcomed their fourth kid into this world, a baby boy named Kaius Green Jeter.

Filled with happiness, Jeter took it upon himself to share this incredible news with his fans. Then, mere days after his son’s birth, Derek reverted back to his responsibility of co-hosting Turn 2 Foundation’s Invitational Gala. And now, while playing the new role of MLB analyst, Jeter is celebrating his 49th birthday with his family.
