Your father is Aaron Judge!? That’s the exact line that newborn Nora Rose Judge is going to hear many times in her lifetime and for the right reasons too. Judge is 32 and already an amazing player. One of those great things happened just a month ago. Aaron Judge and his wife Samantha Bracksieck welcomed a baby girl. The 2x MVP shared the news with the world on February 5th in a touching social media post. “What an incredible week it’s been! I can’t wait for the memories the three of us will make.” he wrote as the caption for a picture of his daughter’s tiny feet.

As Spring Training has started, Judge made an incredible move to showcase his love for his daughter. Judge gave fans a sneak peek on Instagram at his recently custom-made baseball glove, a gorgeous pink item with the words “Nora Rose” embroidered in a sophisticated purple font. Besides that, the iconic Yankees logo is also embedded onto the glove.

Both Judge and Samantha have been private about their personal life, especially about the pregnancy. Until January, there was no news that they were expecting nor were there any rumours. The new parents have known each other since high school and made it official in the year 2021. Adding some dad strength to the resume now. Judge has some major goals for the 2025 season.

Aaron Judge won’t let history repeat itself

Aaron Judge knows the sting of postseason heartbreak all too well. After the Yankees fell short of their ultimate goal in 2024, losing in a brutal five-game series to the Dodgers in the World Series, the pain of coming so close was much more acute than the disappointment of missing out entirely the year before. “Getting to the dance and then losing out on it is definitely a lot worse than not even getting in,” Judge admitted, reflecting on the difficult end to what had otherwise been a strong season.

While the Yankees’ 2024 season wasn’t a total loss, it left a lingering sense of unfinished business. Judge, who faced his own struggles during the postseason with a key error and an underwhelming offensive performance, expressed that the experience of almost tasting a championship was what fueled his hunger heading into the new season. “Getting a chance to nibble on that final piece… really drives that hunger and passion of guys,” he said, emphasizing the team’s collective determination to take the next step.

The loss to the Dodgers, as painful as it was, has given the Yankees a sense of clarity about what they need to do to finally reach the pinnacle. As the Yankees kicked off their first full-squad workout of 2025 at Steinbrenner Field, the focus was squarely on moving forward. The lessons learned from the 2024 season—both the highs and the crushing lows—are serving as motivation to rewrite the script this year.
