The entire MLB world is celebrating the single-season home run record of the New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge. Notably, Judge smashed his 61st homer this season and leveled Roger Maris’ single-season home run record in the American League.

Although it is a fact that Barry Bonds (72) and Mark McGwire (70) hold the single-season home run record in the entire MLB, Roger Maris Jr. has come up with some serious statements after Judge hit his 61st home run.

It is not hidden that Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire allegedly used steroids to break the home run record. Bonds smashed 72 home runs in a season while playing for the SF Giants. On the other hand, McGwire also smashed 70 home runs in a season while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.

And given they were not clean, Roger Maris’ son believes that not only in the American League but Aaron Judge is the real home run champ in the entire MLB. Maris Jr. even said that Aaron Judge is the face of baseball.
