Being sent to the Minor Leagues after injuries, illnesses, or bad form, helps MLB players get their strength before their comeback to the big league. This allows them a chance to recover their form and prove themselves. Teams send their struggling players to AAA, AA, or even High-A at times. But most recently, the Toronto Blue Jays ace pitcher experienced a major career setback after a poor performance.
Furthermore, fans are mocking him for all the controversial things he has said in recent times. Not only did he insult Gerrit Cole, but he also called him the World’s greatest cheater. This most recent demotion to the Minor Leagues will serve as a big test in his career.
