So, we gotta help out our peeps. $300 for the torture I put him, $100 for being a great Yankee fan, and $100 for converting him from a Knicks fan to a Wolfpack. Timberwolves baby!”

The reason A-Rod wanted Anthony to be a Timberwolves fan was that he was already a fan of the New York Yankees and A-Rod.
