Chris Gronkowski designed a product named, ‘Ice Shaker’. The motive was to create an insulated bottle made of kitchen-grade stainless steel. The purpose was to stop leakage without stinking and holding ice for over 30 hours. Investors Rodriguez and Mark Cuban negotiated a deal of $150K for a 15% stake, ultimately valuing Chris Gronkowski’s desired $1 million.

According to a source speaking on his experience, CEO Chris Gronkowski later said, “The response was incredible. I created this bottle for myself, because I wanted a quality bottle that I could use all day long, not just for the gym, but also in my car, at the office, by the pool, and even as I travel. I soon found out that a lot of other people were looking for a quality bottle that will help them live a healthier lifestyle.”

Chris added, “Ice Shaker was just a side hustle when I entered the Shark Tank. At that time, the bottles were being stored in spare bedrooms in my house and in a storage unit. Shark Tank took Ice Shaker to a full-time job overnight. The sales exploded and so did the work. Emails and phone calls flooded in and I struggled to find enough time in the day to keep up.” 

The booming sales of Ice Shaker 

In the next edition of Shark Tank, ‘A-Rod’ stated that Ice Shaker sales are up by 500%. The Ice Shaker now also varies in size from the original standard 26oz bottle to a wider 36oz and as small as 6oz. The product has gone into over 3,500 GNC stores nationwide since its initiation.
