Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez agreed to do Kay-Rod Cast in open format
While talking to Jason Kelly of Bloomberg, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez revealed he did not agree to do the 30-Sunday Kay-Rod Cast with ESPN because of his busy schedule. Instead, he settled to do it in an open format, just 10 Sundays in a season.

“Between the Timberwolves and running our firm. I could not do 30,” A-Rod said. “So he kind of gave me an open format to what do you want to do? I said I can do 10 Sundays. And if I can do it with my best buddy Mike (Michael Kay).”

The Yankees legend explained that he also has to look after his daughters. So, by doing an episode per week, he will not be able to manage his work.

“I was very honest and said I cannot do 30 Sundays. It’s like travel on Saturday, you get there on Sunday and you are off on Monday. I have a girl. A daughter who is going to be a senior next year. I have a daughter who is going to be a freshman next year,” A-Rod explained.
Notably, managing multiple businesses along with family is difficult for anyone. And in A-Rod’s case, it is even more complicated. Because he has lots of things to deal with. And after buying the Minnesota Timberwolves, his schedule must have been busier.
