Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro aren’t in town! They have escaped to spend some quality time ringing in the new year in the city of love, Paris. Now, this couple, while valuing their privacy, isn’t one to not share their quality moments online. Not Papparazi pictures though! Several pictures of them enjoying the French capital are making rounds, giving fans a nice sneak peek. From Parisian landmarks to cozy dining nights – they had a true experience.

Jaclyn took to Instagram to share updates. In one photo, she was sweetly kissing Alex Rodriguez’s forehead. On the other, the couple was seen enjoying a nice candlelit dinner at the L’Atillio, a well-known French restaurant. But that’s not all; they took their time a step further.

The couple visited the famous Moet & Chandon winery, where they went to the underground cellars. Learning about the brand’s legacy and seeing how it’s aged must have been marvelous. Then there were photos of the couple enjoying their time at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, another iconic location. There, they had a relaxed time too, and Jaclyn captioned the moment she shared with the caption, “Pardon My French.”

Whether Jaclyn knows French or not, the crux of the matter is—that they as a couple had a ball. And since A-Rod’s split with Jennifer Lopez, he has been extremely open about how Jaclyn has helped him be a better person; how she helped him be in the best shape of his life. Jaclyn extends this positivity online, too. Often she posts self-help thoughts and advice to help followers prioritize themselves and be healthy. Stop making yourself easily available for people who never prioritize you,” she posted on her socials.

Alex Rodriguez’s uphill battle with Hall of Fame

However, back in the world of baseball, it’s an interesting time for everyone as the Hall of Fame voting announcement is around the corner. And yet again, Alex Rodriguez is back on the list. It’s his fourth time here, but still, his chances look far from promising. As per CBS Sports, Rodriguez still didn’t manage to get more than 35.7% of the vote. That is far from impressive for a player of Alex Rodriguez’s caliber. The man has 3,115 hits, 696 home runs, and 2,086 RBIs. But still, he doesn’t end up getting the votes. Why?

The issue is Rodriguez’s history of PED use. This involvement dates back to 2003, and then, of course, he was given the 211-game suspension in 2013. This history is a doom to his legacy. No matter how good a player he was, the ‘legend’ title is still far away. And because of the PEDs, several voters are hesitant to choose him.

However, it’s not just him in this boat. Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens, and even Barry Bonds are known for their spectacular numbers. But they aren’t yet in the Hall of Fame because of PED involvement. Now there is a way these players can get in, but it’s through the veteran’s committee, and it could take decades.

A-Rod although, with or without that Hall of Fame accolade, is still thriving. He has several entrepreneurial ventures, plus he rocks as a FOX analyst. Doesn’t he? Share your views in the comments.
