Alex Rodriguez may have been a phenom on the baseball field but a pro in relationships he was probably not. After a full-season suspension for his role in the Biogenesis scandal, A-Rod was once seen out and about with his family. And who did that family include but his girlfriend, his daughters, and his ex-wife? Talk about awkwardness!

Everyone knows Rodriguez was a force to be reckoned with when he stepped up to the mound. With 14 All-Stars and 696 home runs by the end of his career, the former Yankee was considered one of the best. He may never be inducted into Cooperstown because of his PED usage. But he certainly had a Hall of Fame-worthy career. Even so, just because he was a pro on the diamond didn’t always mean he was a pro in his personal life, too.

Alex Rodriguez caused some discomfort in the lives of his lady loves

The former shortstop got married to Cynthia Scurtis in 2002, but the two divorced in 2008. The ex-couple shares two daughters, to whom A-Rod is still close. His single days saw many a report of tabloids talking about different women linked to him frequently. And while, of course, it’s no crime to date as many people as someone wants, maybe it should be illegal to bring them into contact with each other.

While some do not mind meeting their partners’ exes, most people prefer to avoid it. And Scurtis and Rodriguez’ then-girlfriend, former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson, also seemed to prefer the latter. Page Six wrote about an incident back in 2014 when the two were seen together with A-Rod and his daughters, looking supremely awkward.

Perhaps what’s even more interesting is that Scurtis had just recently gotten engaged to someone else.

Where is the trio now?

Even though Rodriguez and Wilson dated for several years, a long-term relationship just wasn’t in the cards for them. Now, almost a decade later, the two seem to be doing well, however. Rodriguez is dating fitness expert Jac Cordeiro. And if their lifestyles are anything to go by, the two are made for each other.

After a rather bitter end to their marriage in 2008, Rodriguez and Scurtis seem to have a good, almost friend-like relationship now. The retired Yankee even seems to have a good relationship with his ex-wife’s new husband!
