Former baseball player Alex Rodriguez is one of the fiercest players in MLB history. After playing for three different teams for over two decades, A-Rod hung up his cleats back in 2016. After retiring, a new chapter of his life began. It put the former Yankee back in the headlines, but not because of his game. It was because of his relationship with the pop icon Jennifer Lopez. The ex-celeb couple fell in love with each other after they started dating in early 2017.
But Rodriguez was as fiercest in his personal life as he was in the ballpark. The former baseball player had his then-fiancee’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Sean P Diddy, apologize after he made a rather improper comment on one of JLo’s posts.

What did the rapper say to Alex Rodriguez?
Before entering into a relationship, both A-Rod and JLo had been in a relationship with quite a few people. At the time, Lopez and Diddy were one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. But nobody would have expected that one day he’d make a comeback in the actress’ life. In 2019, JLo put a picture of herself in a sports bra showing off her abs. At which Diddy had commented, “OMG,” followed by a heart emoji. Notably, things soon got out of hand.
After this, he went ahead and apologized to her ex-girlfriend’s then-fiance, Alex Rodriguez. In an interview with Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM, the actress talked about what Diddy said to her beau. She spoke, “He wrote Alex after that. He was like, ‘I didn’t mean anything. I have nothing but respect for you guys. I’m so happy for you guys, and you know we were together so many years ago. It’s just like we were kids.”
The couple might have gone through this minor incident quickly. Because besides an ex complimenting the other, nothing was going on between JLo and the rapper.

Before coming into a relationship with the former athlete, the pop icon had already been married three times and engaged to Ben Affleck. After splitting from Marc Anthony in 2011, the actress dated the backup dancer Beau ‘Casper’ Smart. The two of them remained in a relationship until, in 2014, she found out Smart was exchanging photos and messages with a model.

Then, she got linked with the rapper and singer Drake in December 2016. It was just a couple of weeks before she met Rodriguez. With A-Rod, JLo stayed in the relationship for four years. And now, she has moved on and married her ex-fiance Ben Affleck.
