Aside from the romantic relationships that the former shortstop Derek Jeter had, his relationship with his former teammate Alex Rodriguez has been the talk of baseball town ever since they first met. From becoming acquaintances to best friends, they also shared a fair share of rifts between them.

Their relationship has never been the same since Alex made a harsh comment about Jeter during his early days in baseball. And because of that one comment, even to date, they do not share the same friendship bond between them.

That was probably the main reason when Jeter got engaged to Hannah in 2015, Alex was not aware.

Alex Rodriguez made a mistake and suffered at the hands of it!

Alex Rodriguez had made some uncanny comments about Jeter for having a great team to help him win all the titles. If he hadn’t done that, their friendship might not have taken a turn for the worse. Therefore, even after 15 years of what transpired, Jeter couldn’t make Alex one of his close friends to tell about his engagement with Hannah Davis.

Notably, the former Yankee was finally settling down with the supermodel Hannah Davis, and they got engaged in November 2015. Per a 2015 report from NJ.com, Jeter had told Jorge Posada about his engagement with Hannah. However, he did not communicate the same to Alex.

Therefore, when Alex got asked whether he knew anything about Jeter’s engagement, he simply said, “That’s news to me.”
