Most recently, the team added 2-time World Series Champion and retired MLB outfielder Johnny Damon to their roster. The Bananas announced the signing via Twitter on their official account.?

In the Tweet, the Bananas said, ?Now batting for your Savannah Bananas, 2x World Series Champ, Johnny Damon??. This is a huge move for the team as they bring in a player who earned 2 All-Star appearances. Furthermore, he also offers them star power.?
