Throughout the four years of their relationship, MLB icon Alex Rodriguez continued to motivate and admire pop icon Jennifer Lopez for every project in which she dipped her hands. Aside from encouraging, A-Rod also persuaded Lopez to try her hand in the business world. Together, the two of them invested in a multitude of businesses. On the other hand, Lopez became a businesswoman and started her own business, a beauty line, JLo Beauty. She did so while still being in a relationship with A-Rod and him as an investor.

Now, it’s been almost two years since the ex-celeb couple announced their breakup. And JLo has an entirely different side of her as a businesswoman. Adding to her already numerous ventures she is a part of, is her new venture, Delola.

Inspired by her roots in the Big Apple, love for Italy, and her better half, Ben Affleck, JLo launched a lower-calorie alcohol line. Right now, the line consists of three spritzes: Bella Berry, made with vodka; Paloma Rosa, with tequila; and L’orange, featuring an amaro base.

The brand name Delola is a Spanish word that means from Lola. And for those unversed, it is the nickname of the multi-talented Jennifer Lopez. Since JLo and Affleck both share the same sun sign, Leo, the bottle of the spritzes has two leos (lions) on them, one for Jennifer and the other for Ben.

Talking about her brand with People magazine, JLo said, “I love to entertain. I love throwing parties at my house. I’m always the first one on the dance floor at all of the industry events and, at times, on vacation, dancing on the table. That is kind of who Lola is.”

Which ventures did JLo and A-Rod invest in as a couple?

The ex-celeb couple, aside from investing in JLo beauty, also invested in the self-care company Hims & Hers. Additionally, they also collaborated with the fitness app Fitplan to offer fitness coaching and dipped their hands into real estate by buying a $33 million mansion.
