Throughout the four years that Alex Rodriguez and pop icon Jennifer Lopez dated, they continuously motivated and supported each other. And now, almost two years after breaking up, when JLo and A-Rod have long moved on, they lent their support to their current partners through every hardship and celebratory moment. Recently, Jennifer took to her Instagram to share her husband, Ben Affleck’s upcoming directorial and starring NBA legend Michael Jordan-inspired movie, Air.

The movie is about to release in a couple of days. Hence, promotions for the same are going in full swing. For those unversed, Affleck’s Air is about a Nike salesman trying to strike a business deal with rookie player Michael Jordan. Based on true events, Air is about to hit the silver screen on April 5, and JLo joined in to promote her husband’s movie with a twist.

How did Jennifer Lopez promote Air?

Recently, Amazon Studios struck a deal with premium shoe care brand Jason Markk to promote Air by providing free sneaker cleaning in multiple cities in the country. The campaign started well and also brought it to the City of Angels, Los Angeles. As they did so, they let the fans know on Instagram about the event happening in LA via a video on their Instagram story.

Jennifer, on the other hand, wanting to promote the movie, posted the video on her Instagram story. The movie about the iconic NBA legend MJ looks like becoming a blockbuster by bringing in every MJ fan in their corner.

JLo and Affleck reunited after almost two decades. It was shortly after Lopez’s infamous breakup with MLB icon Alex Rodriguez in April 2021. And from the looks of it, the two of them are having the time of their lives. 

When did Lopez meet Ben Affleck?

The now-married couple Jen and Ben had met for the first time on a movie set in 2002. They started dating and even got engaged. But problems occurred, and they announced their split in 2004. Fast forward to 2021, when JLo had just broken up with A-Rod, she reconnected with Affleck.

And it did not take much time for them to get close again, and they started dating. They realized that they wanted to stay together for the rest of their lives, and hence got married within a year.
