Since breaking up with Alex Rodriguez in April 2021, Jennifer Lopez has experienced a lot in her personal life. The pop icon got back together with ex-fiance Ben Affleck shortly after the split with A-Rod. She got engaged to Affleck in April last year and then married him in a small ceremony in July. 

Since then, she has been in the headlines on a regular basis for both her work and her personal life. Most recently she was seen celebrating a cosmetic mogul’s huge milestone while her ex-husband got married to another woman. 

Jennifer Lopez celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Anastasia Beverly Hills and Oprah’s birthday

Jennifer Lopez recently attended the star-studded party celebrating Anastasia Soare and the 25th anniversary of Anastasia Beverly Hills. Soare has developed an empire in the beauty and cosmetics industry. She has worked with multiple celebrities and models over the years. Other than JLo, celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Sophia Vergara, and Oprah Winfrey were at the party. In fact, there was even a cake to celebrate Winfrey’s birthday, which had taken place on the 29th. A Twitter user called Bennifer Updates shared a video of the cake.

In the Tweet, they said, “Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara and more celebrating Oprah’s birthday”. By attending this party, JLo chose not to attend her ex-husband Marc Anthony’s wedding. Anthony recently married fashion model Nadia Ferreira and JLo was not in attendance.

Although it may seem obvious that JLo would not attend her ex-husband’s wedding, the two are still friends. The pop star has remained close to her ex-husband since their divorce and they co-parent their two children together. They broke up in a highly publicized split in 2011.

Whhy did JLo and Marc Anthony break up?

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split up in 2011 in a highly publicized breakup. The reason for their split was that they’d fight all the time and the marriage wasn’t working. According to a source that talked to PEOPLE, they split “after months of nonstop arguing”. The source also said, “Marc and Jennifer decided it’s best to go their separate ways for the sake of their two kids”.

But both JLo and Anthony have found new loves. JLo is happily married to Ben Affleck and once called their first breakup her biggest heartbreak. Anthony on the other has found happiness with his new wife. But Lopez not attending Anthony’s wedding did raise some eyebrows.
