For four years, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were the perfect power couple. Coming from different fields, A-Rod was a former superstar baseball player while JLo is still going strong in her 50s. This brought a lot of attention to their relationship, engagement, and subsequent breakup.

Alex Rodriguez buys the house next to his shared mansion with JLo

Per a recent report, Alex Rodriguez has bought a mansion right next to the one he once shared with his ex-fiancee JLo. If reports are true, then the former Yankee has purchased the property from Ken Griffin for $18.5 million. The property, called Casa La Bonita, is located at 14 Star Island Drive and is built on approximately 1 acre of land. The house is located right next to the 13 Star Island property that A-Rod and JLo once bought together. The 13 Star Island property has remained empty since A-Rod and JLo vacated it with no confirmation on its future.

This purchase comes amidst rumors that JLo is having marriage troubles with her new husband Ben Affleck. And that A-Rod has bought the house in an attempt to win her back. Although these are only rumors at this point, many would be happy to see A-Rod and JLo get back together.

JLo and Affleck got married in July this year, one year after having gotten back together. The couple seemed happy in the initial days of the marriage, but rumors of unhappiness have started to pop up.
