He performed exceptionally well and got to be the World Series MVP to add to his achievements. Despite being just 29 years old, the high-performing shortstop has already established himself as a great. While doing so, he captured the hearts of baseball fans all around the globe. There was a moment during Corey Seager’s remarkable display in the 2023 World Series that will forever be etched in the memories of the Seager family. Corey’s older brother, Kyle, and his nephew, Crue, had the privilege of witnessing Game 3 of the World Series at Chase Field in Phoenix.

For Crue, it was an experience, as it marked his very first World Series game. The highlight of this occasion was Corey’s home run in the third inning. It was a hit that will go down in history as one of the hardest-hit balls ever recorded in a World Series game, with an exit velocity of 114.5 mph.

Reflecting on this event, Kyle Seager shared his thoughts by saying, “We were there for Game 3 in Arizona, and it was absolutely fantastic. Uncle Corey hits a home run during Crue’s World Series game.” The incredible connection shared by the Seager brothers was heartwarming and a reflection of the role of family in a player’s career. Kyle Seager is no stranger to the glory either

Corey isn’t the only star in the Seagar family. His brother Kyle, a successful player himself, appeared in 1480 games. Across eleven seasons, he scored 242 home runs and 807 RBIs. Despite his success, Kyle has always been more focused on his little brother. He has unconditionally backed Corey and mentored him since he was a teenager. When Kyle retired in 2021 to give more time to his family, Corey signed a $325 million deal with the Texas Rangers that changed his life entirely.
