Derek Jeter has provided detailed information on his life history in his newly released docuseries. The audience now has knowledge about previously unknown chapters of his life. Titled ‘The Captain’, the docuseries explore Jeter’s past touching upon every significant incident.

Derek Jeter is a retired baseball legend and one of the greatest icons of the New York Yankees. He is one of the best shortstops to have ever played the sport. Jeter is a five-time World Series winner and 14-time All-Star member.

The source published that Jeter would send away those girls the next morning in a car. The report also stated the whole affair was a decadent period in Jeter’s life post-breakup with actress Minka Kelly. He was living in his Trump Tower bachelor pad at that time. 

Since the initiation of the rumor circulations, Jeter has repeatedly dismissed the story. While he ignored the report, a portion of the public, however, took to believing. So Jeter hit out at the rumor in his docuseries, with a light-hearted approach.

Joking about the matter, Jeter quoted, “I remember being at a Starbucks one time and there’s some random guy behind me and he says, ‘Hey, I just want to let you know, you know I’m giving out gift baskets because you did.’ And I turned around and said, ‘You’re a f***ing idiot!’ And the look on his face. Like, did he think I was gonna say, ‘Yeah, good job, man!!!!!?”

‘The Captain’ premiered on ESPN and ESPN+ network on July 18th. The audience has got to learn about Jeter like never before. He has removed the lid on his personal life and playing career, discussing every high and low.
