Alex Rodriguez posted a story on his Instagram handle wishing Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves’ shooting guard, a ‘Happy birthday’. The emerging NBA talent has fast become a Timberwolves favorite and A-Rod recognized the same.

Alex Rodriguez posted a video of the star and him embracing as the shooting guard left the Court in the 2022 NBA playoffs. The video features the star slugger congratulating the star shooting guard, presumably after a winning performance on the hardwood. Since A-Rod has posted the video, the NBA star too reposted the story on his account.

A-Rod’s recognition of the star possibly comes from a place where the star understands the sporting market having been a professional himself. Perhaps A-Rod is doing for his players what he felt he wanted in his playing days.
